WHY WIP HAIRPORT?

After a long career in Spain, fate brought me to Lisbon and good fortune led me to this oasis of creativity: WIP Hairport. Fifteen years later, I am still here with the same commitment, professionalism and passion.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR WORK?

Every day is different because every client is unique and brings a new challenge. At WIP Hairport, having the freedom to bring an unconventional edge to my work is a privilege. One of our mottos is “independent haircuts for real people”. Why real people? Because style shapes fashion, not the other way round. We look for each client’s individual style. Working alongside such a driven team is also incredibly inspiring and rewarding.

WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE TEAM?

I bring experience and professional maturity to the salon. After almost twenty years, I also have the rewarding responsibility of passing on its philosophy: encouraging clients to go a little further and take a chance with their look. Almost every time, they appreciate that boldness. As we say in Spain: “Renovarse o morir!”

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

I love music, dancing and DJing. I have also practised yoga for several years and am taking a course in macrobiotics.

WHY WIP HAIRPORT?

I first heard about WIP Hairport during a modelling agency test. I remember being captivated by the work and hoping to join the team one day. Eight years later, that ambition became a reality. Alongside the creative freedom, rule-breaking and colour combinations, each of us has a personal touch and identity. We are a small team working in harmony. Having worked in several Lisbon salons, I can honestly say I have only found this sense of family and teamwork at WIP.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR WORK?

Meeting people, sharing experiences with clients, creative freedom and, of course, cutting hair and helping people look and feel wonderful.

WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE TEAM?

I bring a blend of classic and creative work, a positive attitude and a commitment to making sure every client leaves my chair with a smile.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

When I am not in the salon, you will find me taking photographs, travelling or at a concert.

Without a doubt, meeting people, getting to know them and hearing their stories. No two days are the same, and every day brings new challenges.

Good humour, laughter, dedication, commitment and a desire to make people happy.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

Techno is my latest passion! I love dancing and enjoy sport too.

WHY WIP HAIRPORT?

I love this profession because it is never boring. I have worked with hair for fifteen years, yet every day brings something different. Colouring hair is more than a job to me: it is a passion and a way to express my creativity. Bringing a client’s idea to life is an honour.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR WORK?

Meeting people, the variety and learning a little more about everyone’s story each day. Seeing their confidence grow as they embrace a bolder look.

WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE TEAM?

I enjoy working with people, communicating and continuing to learn. I want everyone to feel comfortable and happy with my work. I am attentive and committed to giving every client my very best.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

I love history, architecture and interiors. My aesthetic interests span vintage to avant-garde, although I see myself as more of a forward-thinker. I have always been drawn to the different and the innovative. For many years, alongside hairdressing, I played roller derby.

WHY WIP HAIRPORT?

I first heard about WIP Hairport about a year before moving back to Portugal and immediately knew this was the kind of hair artistry I wanted to be part of. There is something truly special about the creativity, individuality and freedom of expression here. It felt like my place before I even walked through the door.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR WORK?

Without a doubt, the freedom of expression.

I love being part of someone’s moment of self-care: creating a space where they can relax, feel seen and simply be themselves. I always knew I wanted to help people, and hair became my favourite way to do it. There is something magical about bringing someone’s dream hair to life and watching their confidence grow.

WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE TEAM?

Good energy, creativity and a willingness to help wherever I am needed.

I am always happy to lend a hand and help the salon run smoothly. We are a team, and I believe one of the most important things we can offer is being someone others can count on, whatever the day brings.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

Too many to count! I have always been drawn to anything creative and handmade. I have tried fine and contemporary jewellery, drawing, upcycling clothes, macramé and even tattooing.

When I am not making something, I like to keep moving. You will usually find me at the gym, surfing, skateboarding or occasionally practising football skills. I love creating, moving and keeping life interesting.
