Being colour experts, we never colour hair without a skin test at least 48 hours before (but it only takes 2 minutes). If you're not sure if you've had one before, and it's your first colouration, check with us prior to your appointment.

If you really can't make your appointment, please try to give us at least a 24 hours notice.

We understand that finding the right stylist is a very personal choice. As a team, we embrace and encourge clients who are just looking for a change to try a different stylist.

Why WIP-Hairport?

After a long professional career in Spain, time and destiny brought me to Lisbon, and luck to this oasis of creativity called Wip-Hairport. Fifteen years later, here I am with the same commitment, professionalism and passion.

What you like most in your profession?

Every day is different, because each client is unique and always a new challenge. In Wip-Hairport in particular, to print irreverence on my work is a privilege. In fact, one of our mottos is “independent haircuts for real people.” Why real people? Because it’s the style that makes fashion, not the opposite. And WIP demands the style of each client, which is unique. Then there’s also the interaction with the team: it is very exciting and rewarding to work with people so inspired and passionate.

What is your contribution to the team?

Right now I’m the one who brings more experience and professional maturity to the salon. And after almost 20 years I have the grateful responsibility to pass our philosophy: to make the customer go a little further and take risks on their look. In 99% of the time customers appreciate our audacity. We appreciate their confidence! As we say in Spain: “Renovarse o morir!”

Do you have hobbies?

I’m a music lover, I like dancing and DJ. I also practice yoga for several years and attend the Macrobiotic Course.

Ramona

Austria, Tirol · Creative Director

Why WIP-Hairport?

After 8 years living in Vienna I realized it was time to go on. “The universe conspired” and came to my attention that there was a salon in Lisbon managed by an Austrian hairdresser called Sabine. I already knew WIP-Hairport through Flickr and always identified myself with its style and creativity. Once I got to the hall I fell in love with the good energy, professionalism and team dynamics. Here I explore my creativity, meet people from all over the world and learn more and more. Meanwhile WIP is my second home; here I feel safe and the team as a family. Since I arrived I have not thought about returning to Austria.

What you like most in your profession?

I like to create something in the moment with my own hands, to be able to do modeling and sculpting anywhere in the world. Above all I like to contribute to the happiness and self-confidence of my clients.

What is your contribution to the team?

I work in WIP for over five years and consider myself an important part of the team. We are like a family: we work in harmony, exchange ideas, clarify doubts and inspire each other. And all this goes directly to the customer.

Do you have hobbies?

I like sports, I love to dance (almost non-stop) and swimming early in the morning. I also like to touch soil and plants, get around with friends. My new passion is transverse flute, walking me everywhere, always looking for someone to play.

Marion

AUSTRIA, GRAZ · STYLIST

Why WIP-Hairport?

I took 3 months holidays from the salon in Berlin where I worked for the last 4 years and I decided to travel to Portugal with my van, my dog… and my scissors. As I cannot imagine myself not cutting hair for 3 months, I asked WIP for the possibility to work with their team for a month. I knew already that my cutting skills and my passion would fit perfectly in the salon. After enjoying Lisbon sun, and get in touch with WIP team I came back to Berlin, but I quickly recognized that I was missing the sun, the city and, even more, the unique and creative environment I found in WIP. Everything went so fluent and naturally that I could not ignore the signs: and I came back to Lisbon, and to WIP.

What you like most in your profession?

What I like most in my profession is that even after 15 years cutting hair I’m still not bored and I love all about my job: to deliver passion and texture in every single cut.

What is your contribution to the team?

I would say my smile and my flexibility, and of course, the working experience in different countries and salons.

Do you have hobbies?

If food would be a hobby, I would be hummus! Beside hummus I am a sneakerhead, like to travel and techno.

Louise

LONDON, UK · STYLIST

Why WIP-Hairport?

I’ve been coming to Portugal from a young age so it has always been my second home to me. As soon as I saw WIP’s work and was introduced to the team I knew WIP was where I wanted to be. Everyone has made me feel so welcome and quickly felt part of the team.

What you like most in your profession?

I love all aspects of my job, but at WIP you can really let your creativity run free. I really enjoy when a client wants a complete change, to transform their hair into something individual to them.

What is your contribution to the team?

Always using my initiative to help my colleagues and clients. It’s important to be part of a team so I’m always trying to help as much as I can.

Do you have hobbies?

I enjoy cycling, cooking, painting, but most of all I enjoy being at the beach for walks, yoga and surfing.

Núria

Portugal, Lisbon · Young Stylist . Assistant

Why WIP-Hairport?

Because I totally identify myself with its essence. WIP-Hairport stands for difference and for creativity. It’s an alternative space with no barriers to our imagination. Each one of us has its own style, its own voice and, at the end, together we make the difference.

What you like most in your profession?

I like to take risks. I like to encourage people to leave their comfort zone, to move forward, to change with no fear. Above all, I like to help people feel good about themselves.

What is your contribution to the team?

I contribute with my willingness, my commitment, my professionalism, my availability. I receive clients and get along with them in their experience. It is very gratifying to be able to help WIP-Hairport team achieving its goals.

Do you have hobbies?

I’m a modern circus artist. I love working with fire, dancing, acrobatics and mixing everything. I’m a ‘Payasita’ (Little clown).

Tânia

Portugal, Estoril · Salon Manager

Why WIP-Hairport?

Precisely because it’s WIP-Hairport! It is a unique salon that overflows creativity and the atmosphere is fantastic. It is a privilege for me to work in this environment and with this team. I wake up every day happy to go to work… that says it all.

What do you like most in your profession?

I like to welcome people and I know how put them comfortable so that they can fully enjoy the WIP-Hairport experience right from the moment they enter the salon. Moreover, I’m very fortunate to be able to watch works of art being created everyday.

What is your contribution to the team?

My contribution to the team will always be to help my colleagues to focus exclusively on their work.

Do you have hobbies?

I love nature and I am fascinated by ancient and eastern cultures. I practice martial arts at Jisei Dojo.
