Why WIP-Hairport? I love the profession because it’s not boring. I’ve been working with hair for 15 years, every day is a different job. Coloring hair for me is more than a job, it’s a hobby and a way of expressing my creativity. Being able to carry out the project that the client brings is an honor. What you like most in your profession? Contact with people, dynamism and getting to know a little more about each person’s day-to-day history. Seeing in each person’s eyes their self-esteem increasing with their boldness. What is your contribution to the team? I have ease in customer service, I am communicative and always interested in learning more. I like to make people comfortable and satisfied with my work. I am attentive and very concerned about delivering my best to each client. Do you have hobbies? I love history, architecture, decoration. My interest in aesthetics ranges from extreme vintage to avant-garde (although I consider myself much more avant-garde, I’ve always liked what’s different and innovative). For a long time, in addition to being a hairdresser, I was a Roller Derby player.

Why WIP-Hairport? After 7 years working at a “classic” salon, Wip-Hairport is the perfect place to shake my world and wake up my creative and irreverent side. What you like most in your profession? Without a doubt the contact with the clients, getting to know them and learn their stories. Also, every day is different, there are new challenges every day waiting for me. What is your contribution to the team? I will bring a good mood, some laughter, dedication, commitment and willing to please. Do you have hobbies? Techno is my latest hobby! I love to dance. I also like practicing sports.

Why WIP-Hairport? The first time I heard about wip was in modeling agency casting, and I remember seeing the work and being absolutely amazed and with the desire to, one day, join the team. After 8 years here I am. In addition to creative freedom, breaking the rules and fusing colors in our work, each one of us has is own personal touch and identity. We’re all a small cog in the “machine” that works in harmony and after having worked in some salons in Lisbon I can say with certainty that I only found this family and team spirit on wip. What do you like most in your profession? The contact with people, the sharing of experiences between the client/stylist, the creative freedom and of course being able to cut hair and make the clients beautiful and wonderful. What is your contribution to the team? I bring a fusion of classic and creative works, good mood and I guarantee that I won’t let any client leave my chair without a smile on their face. Do you have hobbies? When you don’t find me in the salon, it’s because I’m out there taking pictures, traveling or at a concert.

Why WIP-Hairport? After a long professional career in Spain, time and destiny brought me to Lisbon, and luck to this oasis of creativity called Wip-Hairport. Fifteen years later, here I am with the same commitment, professionalism and passion. What you like most in your profession? Every day is different, because each client is unique and always a new challenge. In Wip-Hairport in particular, to print irreverence on my work is a privilege. In fact, one of our mottos is “independent haircuts for real people.” Why real people? Because it’s the style that makes fashion, not the opposite. And WIP demands the style of each client, which is unique. Then there’s also the interaction with the team: it is very exciting and rewarding to work with people so inspired and passionate. What is your contribution to the team? Right now I’m the one who brings more experience and professional maturity to the salon. And after almost 20 years I have the grateful responsibility to pass our philosophy: to make the customer go a little further and take risks on their look. In 99% of the time customers appreciate our audacity. We appreciate their confidence! As we say in Spain: “Renovarse o morir!” Do you have hobbies? I’m a music lover, I like dancing and DJ. I also practice yoga for several years and attend the Macrobiotic Course.
