We know our activity is not “green”. Nor do we want to be “neutral” or “the most” sustainable. We want to be responsible, because our choices matter. We want to quantify to reduce, be more efficient, raise awareness; and minimize our impact. OUR FOOTPRINT | GREENHOUSE GASES (GHG) | tCO2e / kgCO2e During 1 year we emit 3.3 tCO2e of Greenhouse Gases (GHG), equivalent to the emission of 28 car trips from Lisbon to Madrid. The entire value chain associated with our activity (raw materials; production; transport and product end-of-life) emitted 30 tCO2e. We compensate our GHG emissions by supporting a project that makes a difference, and with which we identify. We purchased 6 Plan Vivo Certificates (PVC) which, in addition to the issue of compensation (equivalent to 6 tCO2) contribute to additional environmental and social benefits. The first Plan Vivo project developed in Timor-Leste (and the first of its kind in Southeast Asia) the Halo Verde project builds lasting partnerships with Timorese farmers by working together on agroforestry, land restoration and sustainable agricultural practices. — OUR FOOTPRINT | WATER | m3 / Litros During 1 year we consume 260 m3 of water, equivalent to the annual domestic consumption of 5 people. The entire value chain associated with our activity (raw materials; production; transport and product end-of-life) consumed 300 m3.
